Obituary for June Madeline Coles

June Madeline Coles, age 58, passed from this life into her Eternal rewards on Thursday, Jan.19th 2023 from complications due to a long term illness she has been suffering from for many years.

My Beloved wife June lived in Ellington, Ct. all her life and was born at Rockville General Hosp, to parents named Gerald and Geneva Boulanger, which is also where she passed. She went to Ellington schools and graduated in 1982. She was a very devoted Catholic and loved our Lord Jesus and lived the Catholic Faith with her whole heart, unto her last breath. She loved life and had a heart that only wanted to love. She married me, Marty Coles in 1994, and being her husband, my children and I were blessed to benefit from the love God gave her to give. She was a Rose among many thorns, the Rose being her love, the thorns being her suffering for 25 years. She will be missed painfully, as well as joyfully, because we know the suffering has now passed and the peace and joy is now the field that she dances in.

She had many hobbies and interest, but her faith was the center of her life and love. She had many jobs, Colt firearms in Htfd, Rockville General Hosp, Gerber Scientific, but the one she loved best was taking care of the disabled in a group home in South Windsor, Ct. We have been married 29 years and were Blessed to have three children, who so far have given us four beautiful grand children. Our oldest son, Tyler Coles married Marissa Boney and they have two children, Tristan Coles 8, and Myles Coles 2. Our second child, Dylan Coles recently married Rachel Carmel, and they have one child soon to be born, the name is on the way. And lastly, God gave us that beautiful daughter that completes the family in a way only a girl could, her name is Olivia Coles and she has been blessed with one son named Levi Slen age 5.

June is the youngest of seven children, five girls, Rejane Boulanger, Beatrice Rocker (husband Clay), Ruth Davidson (husband Greg), Julie Morgan (husband Howard) and two brothers, William Boulanger (wife Sylvia) and Greg Boulanger (wife Laurie), as well as their children, and the list goes on, too numerous to mention for the sake of space, but they too are all in our hearts.

The services will be held at Burke-Fortin Funeral home located in Rockville, Ct on Saturday, January 28th 2023 from the hours of 8:15-9:15 am, after which we will proceed to a Catholic Burial Mass at Saint Martha Church in Enfield, Ct. After Mass, we will travel to Saint Bernard Cemetery in Rockville,Ct., to lay June into her final resting place. Flowers may be sent directly to Burke –Fortin Funeral home on Friday Jan. 27th, the day before funeral. Any donations may be sent to 4 Middle Butcher Rd. Ellington, Ct. 06029 in care of her husband Marty L. Coles. There will be a small gathering after the services end, and will mention details after burial. Thank you all for your support and prayers, which aided us greatly to get through this sorrowful time.
