Obituary for Tami Lynn Glew

Tami (Corcoran) Glew was born July 10,1962.

She passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on February 5, 2023, at the age of 60.

Tami grew up in Coventry, CT and graduated from Coventry High School. She worked at the deli of Adams grocery store for many years until they closed. She went onto become a CNA in long term care and home care.

Tami will be remembered fondly for her fun-loving, kind and caring spirit. She woke-up grateful for each day and lived life to the fullest. We could always count on Tami to liven up any event with a dramatically-acted story. On rare occasions, Tami was known to belt out her rendition of Whitney Houston's "I will always love you," to everyone's delight and sometimes, horror. She brought so much joy and humor to our lives; and never failed to lighten up a room. She was always the life of the party, her laughter was contagious, and her countless stories will be cherished.

Tami is survived by her beloved son, Tyler Glew of Hartford, CT; sister, Teri Mitchell and her husband John Mitchell of Manchester, CT; sister, Tina Corcoran of Coventry, CT; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Patricia Corcoran, and brothers, Thomas Jr. and Timothy Corcoran.

A graveside service at East Cemetery 220 E Center St. Manchester is scheduled for Saturday February 18, at 12:00 noon.

Followed by a celebration of life.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
