Obituary for Seymour S. Keise
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we the Keise Family announce the passing of our beloved patriarch, Seymour S. Keise. Seymour died peacefully at Hartford Hospital on March 10, 2023 at age 86, surrounded by his family.
Seymour was born in St Ann, Jamaica on February 4, 1937, to Egbert and Gloria (Gayle) Keise. He’s survived by his wife Florizel, 2 brothers, 4 sisters, 8 children, 19 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces,,nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, and beloved friends.
Seymour was well loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
The Funeral service will be held at the Vernon United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 1st 2023 at 12:00 PM. There will be visitation at the same location beginning at 10:00 AM. His family will be present to welcome loved ones. Final interment will be in his home country of Jamaica, W.I.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to ALL those who prayed, provided medical care and comfort, all well-wishers and especially to those that took the time to call/visit during the past year.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made in memory of Seymour to Vernon United Methodist Church, 401 Hartford Turnpike, Vernon, Connecticut.
