Obituary for Michael A. Pici
Michael Anthony Pici passed away on May 6th with the people who love him at his bedside.
From his early beginnings in a loving Italian family in New Jersey to building a family in Tolland with his wife Sheila, Michael brought kindness to everything he did. He was a compassionate, hardworking and very gentle man. He had an impact on a lot of people and built lifelong friendships. He was the epitome of a family man; an incredible husband and father.
He was proud of his work as a financial advisor where he helped people set their families up for stability and happiness. He was proud of his high school football career and enjoyed playing tennis. But most of all, he was proud of his family. Especially his children, Michael and Lauren.
Words can’t explain how much he’ll be missed by those who were lucky enough to love him, including wife Sheila, children Michael and Lauren, and their respective partners Eabhan and Sam.
A special thank you to the staff of Hartford Hospital’s CB2 unit who took such great care of him.
Friends and family are invited to join us from 4 to 7 PM on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at the Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Rd. (Rte. 195), Tolland. Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, May 12, 2023 at St. Matthew Church, 111 Tolland Green, Tolland. Burial will be private.
