Frank Gerald Campanelli, 93, of Ellington, passed away on Nov. 7, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Sept. 13, 1930 in Hartford, CT. Frank was the loving husband of the late Theresa Sawicki for 46 years. He is survived by his daughter Karen Daigle and her husband, Gary; his son, Joseph Campanelli and wife, Martena.
Frank adored spending time with his grandchildren: Timothy Daigle and spouse Kaitlyn, Angela Daigle, and fiancé Reid Remilard, Gabrielle Campanelli-Hasan and spouse Fahim, Rachel Campanelli. He also cherished his great-grandchildren, Henry and Thomas Daigle.
In his free time, Frank enjoyed lively card games, passionately following the victories and defeats of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. His enthusiasm for sports was matched only by his love for his family and his community. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Trusted Angels for their compassionate care and to the VNA for their support during Frank's final days.
Frank will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched with his warmth and kindness. His legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
