Obituary for Jaime Anne Coles

Jaime Coles, 46, passed away at home in Ellington, CT on the morning of Thursday Dec. 28. She will be remembered as an amazing and loving mom, daughter, sister, cousin, and niece; and for her complete devotion to her cats and all living creatures.

She battled cancer for 6 months and lost her battle to liver and kidney failure. She knew she was coming to the end and wanted to pass away peacefully at home. She made it home to her family and pets, and passed away less than 24 hours after arriving home.

Born in Rockville Hospital on 7/11/77, Jaime grew up in Ellington, CT. She leaves behind her daughter Madison, her parents Joanne and Michael Coles, her sister and brother-in-law Mandy and Scott Wieting, and her beloved and spoiled pets Kiwi, Oreo, Pumpkin, Grayson, and Mia.

Jaime was a bright light. She always had a smile and easy-going personality. One of her favorite things to do was movie night with Maddy and the cats, enjoying a cup of tea and a bowl of popcorn. She was also an avid gardener - beautiful plants and gardens lined the walkways and backyard of her home.

Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers in the coming months. No services will be held at this time, however, we will have a Celebration of Life for Jaime this coming spring, details to be posted at a later date. Since Jaime loved all animals, please consider a donation in her name to Our Companions Animal Rescue & Sanctuary (OurCompanions.org) or your favorite animal welfare nonprofit.
