Strawberry Picking and then to McDonalds

In late June or early July we, Fred, Sam, Mike, and I would pile into Lorraine's car with her driving us to a Strawberry farm in Bolton. We would pick stawberries filling up those small boxes for $.10 cents a basket. I believe that i was the slowest picker from our group. We would usually pick enough strawberries to make $1.30-$1.50 or thereabouts. Lorraine was the fastest picker and made more $ than the rest of us. When we finished picking we(Fred, Sam, Mike, and me) piled back into the car and kept screaming to Lorraine "Lady PLEASE take us to McDonalds-PLEASE"!!! (repeatedly)

And Lorraine would always stop for us and we'd spend all the $ we had just made. It was really great fun! She will always be a Special Lady to me.
