Gordon Taylor, 85, of East Windsor, Ct passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 27, 2017. He was born on August 9, 1931 in Sheffield, England to the late Clifford and Maryannie Taylor. He was a Chief Petty Officer and retired after 18 years in the Royal Navy. He enjoyed being the soccer coach on the team Shamrock. He enjoyed playing flight simulators, cycling and loved spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his Wife of 36 years, Pauline, his son’s Mark Taylor, David Richards and his wife Kate and Michael Richards and his wife Melissa, Grandchildren; Gregory Taylor and his wife Brenda, Betty Taylor, Megan, Michaela and Austin Richards, and Victoria and Lauren Richards. Besides his parents he is pre-deceased by his first wife Patricia and his brother Eric Taylor. Relatives and friends may join the family on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the Grace Episcopal Church, 44 Old Ellington Road, Broad Brook, CT between 10am-11am with an 11am service.
