Obituary for William Indermill

William Bennett Indermill, 55, of Enfield and Somers passed away on July 8, 2006. He was predeceased by his parents William G. Indermill and Rhea B. Indermill and is survived by his adoptive mother Lorraine Indermill of Texas. William, also known to his friends as Bill, was born on April 27, 1951 in Munich Germany. He graduated from Enfield High School and joined the U.S. Army. While serving in the Army, he suffered a totally debilitating injury. Bill bravely coped with his physical disabilities for his remaining 30 years. During those years he received extraordinary and loving nursing care twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. His nursing staff became his family and he was as fond of them as they were of him. Special appreciation is extended to all of his loving, and devoted caregivers, especially to his friends Alice, Dr. William Waldman and Dr. Mohammed Hazratji who took such wonderful care of him and never gave up on him. Medication essential to Billís survival was made possible in part through the efforts of the Somers Womenís Club to whom William was also most grateful. Besides his mother, Lorraine he is also survived by his sisters, Kathleen Indermill of Georgia, Lynnette Fox and Loraine Greg of Ohio. William will be buried with his father with military honors at Arlington National Cemetery on Monday, October 23, 2006 at 3:00 PM. Memorial contributions are appreciated and directed to the charity favored by the donor. Arrangements have been entrusted to Small & Pietras Funeral Home, 65 Elm Street, Rockville.
