PERSONAL MEMORIES

MY BROTHER NELSON AND I WERE "ROOMMATES" => HAVING GROWN UP IN THE SAME ROOM TOGETHER AND SHARING MANY MEMORIES AND WONDERFUL HAPPENINGS TOGETHER. WE LISTENED TO THE SAME MUSIC AND LOVED THE SAME THINGS; SUCH AS LONG HIKES IN THE WOODS. WE KEPT IN TOUCH AND WERE VERY CLOSE BROTHERS AND BOTH CAME TO KNOW OUR SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, AS OUR LORD AND SAVIOR! WE STAYED IN TOUCH UNTIL THE END, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS BY PHONE. ONE OF MY MOST MEMORABLE TIMES IS WHEN NELSON, MIKE GATES (FUNKY), AND MYSELF WENT CREEK RAFTING => MY BROTHER, NELSON BOUGHT ALL OF THE GEAR THAT WE NEEDE; AND WE WENT RAFTING ALL THE WAY DOWN A TUMULTUOUS 18-MILE CREEK TO BUFFALO CREEK AND WOUND UP SHIVERING AND WET AND IT WAS A SIMPLY WONDERFUL TIME! I WILL MISS HIM AND I KNOW WHEN I SEE MY SAVIOR FACE-TO-FACE, THEN I WILL SEE NELSON! LOVE, BILLY
