Kevin & Darcy,
As a family we all have fond memories of Uncle Mike as he could always make us laugh. Growing up he was always a big part of our lives and as you know Christmas family tradition, all the girls in the family would get together and bake for the holidays. Mom use to say Uncle Mike had a cookie radar because every time we baked as soon as the cookies were ready to come out of the oven, Mom would say, well Mike should be walking through the door any minute and wouldn't you know it he always did. Mom would say could you smell them from your house? and Uncle Mike would always say yes and you need a taste tester, so here I am to make sure that you made the cookies right. After I was grown and had my own home, every time I would bake, he was able to do the same thing to me. I still wonder how did he know? Maybe he really could smell the cookies or had impeccable timing! I will miss him, he was a great man! We were very fortunate.
Lots of Love, may your memories wrap you like a warm blanket and carry you through this difficult time. I'm here if you need me.
Karen
