Eleanore A. Vicki

Eleanore A. (Kamm) Vicki, 76, of Tolland, beloved wife of the late Peter Vicki Sr., passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020. She was born February 1, 1944 in Hartford, the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary (Natale) Kamm. Eleanore began her journey with Peter in Alaska before moving back to Connecticut. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed bowling, bird watching and traveling. She especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters and trips to her beach house on the Cape. She created the most delicious baked goods, her specialty was Italian cookies and made family dinners every Thursday night. Eleanore was highly active in the Ladies Guild at St. Matthew’s Church, always volunteering her time for receptions and annual bazaars. She is survived by her two sons. Peter Vicki Jr. and his wife Rebecca of Coventry and Michael Vicki and his wife Sandy of Tolland; her two brothers, Donald Kamm and his wife Gail of Enfield and Martin Kamm and his wife Suzanne Grenier of East Hartford; her three beautiful granddaughters, Michaela Grace, Giana Rose and Rozanna Lynn Vicki; her special niece and nephew, Linda “Lefty” and Frank DiGennaro; and several other nieces and nephews. Besides her beloved husband of 53 years, she was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Kamm Jr. and her sister, Rose Chiapponi. We would like to thank The Ivy at Ellington for their loving care of our mother over the past few years. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at South Cemetery in Tolland. Per CDC and state guidelines masks and social distancing will be mandatory.
